What do you think of on Leap Day?
I think of Frogs.
Is that normal?

Since I can only say this 1 time every 4 years … Happy Leap Year!
I sure I’m probably not normal, I mean — I’m not normal in so many other ways. 😉 I don’t think of leaping Gazelle’s or bunnies or deer … but frogs.
Frogs.

Leap year in my head is just synonymous with the icky creatures I won’t pick up or hold, hate running over on lightly rainy nights and make deep rumbly croaks in my mom’s little pond.
Clearly, I’m not a big ‘frog’ fan.
But hey … it’s 1x every four years, so frogs it is!
So, that’s what ya get today!
Happy Leap Day!

I’m with you, I think of frogs. The difference is, I like the little blighters. Thay make great bait for fishing, they keep the bugs down, they make my wife make funny high pitched noises and dance like a fool every time she sees them… 😉 She’s not a frog fan either.
I think it should be called an Oops year. As in “Oops, I should have made the calendar one day longer”. Or “Oops, the day is actual 24 and 1/2 hours long but that doesn’t fit on my sundial”.
Happy Leap year Aimee!

You’re too funny, Dale. 😉 And I agree … why not 24.5 hours?? C’mon! 😉
I think of the game leapfrog. Does that count? It’s kinda the same, right?
Sure!
I don’t know, I always liked playing Frogger.
I must be weird because Leap Day is just another day to me. I don’t really think about as being special. This year in particular seems to have brought out all the crazies…oops I mean interesting people who want to proclaim today as special.
🙂
Frogger IS fun … on the Wii. 😉
