Release Date: April 7, 2014
Target Reader: Adult
Keywords: Paranormal Romance, Werewolf

About the front:
This is totally different than J.A.’s other books, and I liked it! Her first two in the series were romance—very romancy in fact. Caged was rough and tumble which was totally Ethan. This one is just … well … this one is just sooooo romance again! And there are two mostly naked people on the cover, so I expect this one to be hot-hot-hot! Now the panther is just … well … a cat in a wolf den? We all know the Holloway Pack is wolves, so why in the world is there a panther on the cover? A panther!? Really? Meow instead of roar?? What could possibly be going on. Oh, maybe that’s what the title is referencing — Unnatural. Hmmm … I am so totally into this!

Now let’s look at what the back says:

Unnatural. One word to sum up werewolf Kyle Larsen—his mood swings, abnormal body, and choice of female.

The first two, he blames on the vampire venom.

The third, though? No, feline shifter Brook Nicholls was all his doing—a female of whom the pack will never approve.

As part of the Coalition, an organisation with even stricter rules than the pack and a rigidly warped sense of responsibility, Brook comes with a whole lot of opposition of her own.

No wonder the two of them keep their relationship secret for as long as they can.

Now, distanced from his family by his own indiscretions, Kyle’s left to fight battles he’s unsure how to win—some of them even against his own pack.

Is one woman really so important that he’s willing to defy his Alpha for her?

If his heart has any say in the matter, the answer will be yes.

Does it match? Front to Back without the in between? Let’s look at each line.

Unnatural. One word to sum up werewolf Kyle Larsen—his mood swings, abnormal body, and choice of female.

There it is! Choice of female. So that’s Unnatural.

The first two, he blames on the vampire venom.

Ewwwww. Vampire venom.

The third, though? No, feline shifter Brook Nicholls was all his doing—a female of whom the pack will never approve.

Feline shifter! That = Panther! That = Brook! That means Brook is on the cover. Right? Or is that someone else? And the pack will never approve? Say it ain’t so! I LOVED Brook in Caged. LOVED her. LOVE her in fact.

As part of the Coalition, an organisation with even stricter rules than the pack and a rigidly warped sense of responsibility, Brook comes with a whole lot of opposition of her own.

No wonder the two of them keep their relationship secret for as long as they can.

So it’s panther and werewolf! Do I smell a werecat in the future? 😉

Now, distanced from his family by his own indiscretions, Kyle’s left to fight battles he’s unsure how to win—some of them even against his own pack.

The pack wouldn’t do that, would they? Not Nate and Sean and Jem … no way. I can’t believe it!

Is one woman really so important that he’s willing to defy his Alpha for her?

Noooo! Nate wouldn’t do that! He wouldn’t push Kyle away from Brook. Would he? Just because she’s of the cat persuasion? NO NO NO!

If his heart has any say in the matter, the answer will be yes.

I just can’t imagine Kyle would leave the pack. Jem, help! Help them figure out how they can be together. Unless … well, there is that vampire talk up there. Brook’s not a vampire kitty is she? Hmmm … so many ideas and what ifs? swirling through my mind.

So does it match?
YES!

Will I read it?
YEEEESSSS!
