HS Senior Portraits | Williamsburg, VA

Last weekend I took a long awaited “me time” vacation. According to my daughter Emily, I am now out of vacation time and destined to stay home with them forever. 🙂

While on this mini vacation — which was really food, socializing and photography with a bunch of fantastic photographer friends Bobby Carlsen (and Angie!), Monica Sigmon, Michael Taylor, Sandi Gall, Ruth H (aka Ann Clay)., Lisa Carter (and hubby) and Willis and Jerry Brown.

We had LOADS of fun together. Laughter was abundant — probably more than any other emotion except for sadness when it all came to an end.

Now, you might ask, what would possess me to spend a weekend with my competition? Well, first off … they are great friends and colleagues. I think, we as artists find ourselves in competition more for your sake than anything. We love to share with each other, learn from each other and bring happiness to our lives through our art.

Ok, so many that’s just me, but I think, having spent a weekend with these crazy people, that they’d agree. 🙂

Since we also photographed three Seniors and one smiley, happy “little” sister, I thought I’d share a few with you … just to prove I did in fact work a bit during my time away. 🙂

Enjoy!
