Emily, with her infamous pucker, has received a Finalist award from Betterphoto.com for the March 2006 photography contest. Betterphoto.com was started by Jim Miotke, a professional photographer, and is an online provider of photography education, information, forums and photography contests for amateur and professional photographers alike.

In March, over 25,200 photographs were entered within ten different categories including Nature and Landscapes, Animals, People, Elements of Design, Digital Darkroom, Travel & Places, Flowers, Details & Macro, Special Effects and a Monthly Theme. Exactly 821 photographs were selected for March with Pucker Up! as one of just 51 in the People category.

Finalists were announced April 25, 2006.
