If you saw it, would you read it? Inspired by Danielle E. Shipley #ReadOrNot

About the front:
What a quirky cover! That girl has some gorgeous eyes and she looks so surprised and I have to wonder What?!? is making her go ‘ooh!’ like that? Is it something she’s hiding? Is it the dude in the lightbulb above her head? Is it something she sees? Like me staring at her? What is it? What ever could make a cover model go ‘ooh!’? Now, of course that lightbulb is making me truly wonder. First off, it’s upside down. Secondly, there’s a dude (Yes?) inside it. Better yet, he’s white and she’s not. Hmmm … dichotomy here? At the same time as I wonder all about stuff in this cover, I can’t help but smile. Seriously, it’s just bright and sunny and just whimsical and brings up all these happy emotions in me. I really need to know more!

Now let’s look at what the back says:

For a muse like Lucianíel, one story’s end is another’s beginning.

In the wake of his author’s sudden death, Luc takes ownership of her surviving creations—four fantastical characters with tales yet to be told—saving them from unwritten lives crumbling around them and giving them a second chance at a literary future.

Luc finds that chance in the unsuspecting mind of Annabelle Iole Gray, a quirky teen with her head in the clouds, nose in a book, and imagination ripe for a brilliant muse’s inspiration.

Or so he hopes.

Neither Luc nor Annabelle, however, realize all they’ve undertaken. Even with a to-write list including accounts of a shape-shifting cat creature, gentle knight-in-training, vigilante skater girl, and a mystery boy smothering in unspoken fear, the most remarkable saga created between author and muse just may turn out to be one stranger than fiction.

Their own.

Does it match? Front to Back without the in between?

For a muse like Lucianíel, one story’s end is another’s beginning.

A muse? Oooh … so like is she a muse? Is dude in the lightbulb? Lucianiel has to be a guy name, right? And a story’s end … hmmm…

In the wake of his author’s sudden death,

Oh no!

Luc takes ownership of her surviving creations—four fantastical characters with tales yet to be told—saving them from unwritten lives crumbling around them and giving them a second chance at a literary future.

Okay, so the muse is going to keep the story going! Ha! Love it. And just so like a muse!

Luc finds that chance in the unsuspecting mind of Annabelle Iole Gray, a quirky teen with her head in the clouds, nose in a book, and imagination ripe for a brilliant muse’s inspiration.

Oh, that’s Annabelle! It’s all coming together. That’s her mind. He’s in her mind and he’s going to keep the story rolling! Love it!

Or so he hopes.

Oh no! Well that would be the norm for a Muse, right? I know mine doesn’t talk to me regularly

Neither Luc nor Annabelle, however, realize all they’ve undertaken.

No author or … muse-laden person does.

Even with a to-write list including accounts of a shape-shifting cat creature, gentle knight-in-training, vigilante skater girl, and a mystery boy smothering in unspoken fear, the most remarkable saga created between author and muse just may turn out to be one stranger than fiction.

Their own.

LOVE IT! This is my story and probably your story and every author’s story out there. How awesome!

Does it match?
Yes!
