It’s kick-butt character time! Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Time to kick some booty! My choice for this giveaway is Mac from After Dark by Emi Gayle.

Now, why is Mac a kick-butt character?
Because that’s what she does best. She fights vampires, demons, humans … you name it, she’ll fight it. Most of those fights are of the physical variety with swords and staffs and bare hands. Some are with her lips. Oops. Did I say that? 😉 Guess you’ll have to see how that works.

I have too many fave kick-butt characters to list! Near the top of the list right now are Kate & Curran from the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, Chess & Terrible from Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghosts series and Kaylin Neya & Severn from Michelle Sagara’s Chronicles of Elantra series (I guess I have a thing for kick-butt couples!)

My fave character is Harry Potter because he always fought for what he believed in.
Mercy Thompson, because she’s not afraid to stand up for herself and her people.
Annelise from Veronica Wolff’s Watcher series. She’s sassy, outspoken and does what she needs to to survive
Daemon Black is just so awesome (and he says so himself!), but he has a soft side, too. He will do anything to protect the ones he loves.
My favorite kick butt charater is Tris from Divergent. She was brave and strong and willing to make sacrifices.
