Depending on your interpretation of ‘spring fling’, you could be thinking a dance party, outside, in the evening, in the warmth of spring.

Or … you could be thinking it’s about time to have a ‘spring fling’ … a one-night-stand, a little extra rendezvous.

Or … a spring fling equals spring cleaning and it’s time to empty out that over-full closet. 🙂

For me, anytime I think of spring, I go straight to the warm nights, the greening grass and trees … the feel of the world coming back to life. This is a time weddings get planned, parks are great for family portraits and reading may even slow because we’re spending more time outside (which is good for ya!).

Sometimes, though, especially where I live … spring goes back and forth and back and forth between hot and cold! Some days the temperature can drop or increase by 20-30 degrees! Shorts to pants. Windows open to air conditioning on, to heat and blankets!

It’s crazy and here in the south, ‘spring fling’ is a great way to describe … the weather! It flings ya around one day to the next. Kinda like love. It’s a roller coaster of emotions. Up one day. Down the next. Up. Down.

There’s no difference in our fictional characters lives either. They have to be ‘flung’ around in order to really reach their happily ever after.
