Teeheehee. So. Um. Normally, I won’t even comment on a cover with a naked man chest. Why? Well … because I think they are seriously over done. Yes. Seriously. I am boycotting man chest. Backs I’m good with. 😉 However, when I first saw this man chest, I um … well … had to look twice. Yes, yes, yes I did. I love the black and gold in this. It’s in the foreground, the middle ground and the background. And by middle, I do mean his chest. 😉 I love that I cannot see his face because then I get a chance to imagine what he looks like. In my mind, I’m immediately thinking paranormal — I mean, he is floating in the middle of the image and his 6-pack so perfectly formed he has to be a figment of my imagination. Of course there’s those other muscles … yeah … those … showing, too and we know what that leads to. So while normally I am NOT intrigued by man chests, this one did the trick.

“He’s gorgeous and sexy as sin…” <– That says it all. See? This cover and that blurb are dead on ‘the same’. It screams paranormal. The chest = romance. And the overall ‘danger’ in the city is equally reflected in the ‘danger’ in the blurb. Yep. This is a cover-blurb winner.

Where I’d read it
Somewhere my kids aren’t. They’d be trying to look over my shoulder the whole time, I’m sure of it! Though luckily, I have a Kindle to hide that. 😉
