Never end a fight on a positive. It takes away the punch. ;) #sixsunday
I find it funny when we’re berating someone over their actions and in the end, we realize, as mad as we were, the future hasn’t really changed.
From Misguided, my short in the Into the Unknown Anthology due out December 1, 2011 from the point of view of Wyatt Moreland, main character in Little White Lies!
“I made you promise not to come within a hundred feet of [the bridal shop]—ever.” [Charley’s] eyebrow cocked up. “And . . . you were supposed to be having lunch thirty minutes away.” That same finger pressed into him. “Tell me, Wyatt. What if you’d seen me? We’d have had bad luck for the next sixty years.”

Great six! Now I’m curious about the potential bad luck!!
Amy Durham
Me too! I want to know WHY they’d have bad luck and how it’d manifest. Why don’t you start One Page Sunday and give us a little more? ;}
Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Andris — you are too funny! Ha! This one is a 9000 word short, so in December, you can just buy it for the whopping price of $2.99 and read the WHOLE thing. 🙂 hehehehe 🙂
Sounds serious! 60 years is a very long time.
superstitions – all wives tales lol
Glad she’s looking forward to a marriage of at least 60 years! LOL
@Lisa – 60 IS a long time. 🙂
@Sue – gotta love the effect of wive’s tales, though. 🙂
@Claire — that’s exactly the part that kinda negates her anger. LOL
Poor guy. Always seems to be in trouble. Hehehehe. 🙂
Poor Wyatt’s got himself into the dog house again? Ha!
hehehe, he just couldn’t resist sneaking a peek at his beautiful bride-to-be, could he 😉 I’m looking foward to reading this short story — especially after finishing Little White Lies this weekend! 😀
