Suffice it to say, this has been a long process.
But … the story will be published this summer. Yep, my first novel will be available for your reading pleasure very, very, very, very, soon … (yet still not soon enough for me!).
I’m just too excited to hold back since I know it’s coming. 🙂

So, how long has this novel been in the making? Mine took seven years (that’s with me working full-time, raising kids full-time, researching and a gazillion edits and reviews along with taking time off for personal matters). The second in the series is going by much faster, thank heavens.
I can’t wait to read your novel! Very, very exciting stuff coming your way. Soon we will be able to sit back and say “I knew her when.” 🙂
@Jen: LWL took me … um … 45 days to write. 🙂 Then I subbed it to a contest, queried it, did stuff to it and filed it away. In October 2010, I revamped it, rewrote the entire intro, subbed it, had a request for a full and now it will go to publication! So, all in all? 1 year. 🙂 1.5 years by the time it’s out. 🙂 hehehehe. I’m soooooooo excited. 🙂 🙂
