Me in Threes
I got tagged in a blog chain, which is not as bad as a chain letter because at least it’s environmentally friendly. π And since this one has a bit of personalization to it, here goes.
I was tagged by Claire Gillian, so do be sure to go check out her site and read all about her. π
Three names I go by: Aimee, Mom and “Will you please get off that computer?” <-ok, not really, but I hear it SO much that it's starting to stick. Three jobs Iβve had: Daycare teacher (egad! that was when I was 16-18), Legal Secretary (all through college), IT Helpdesk call center tech support rep (my first job out of college which lasted a whopping 4 months).
Three places Iβve been outside of the US: Paris, France (for work but I managed to take hubby and we did a 2nd honeymoon), Morelia, Mexico (for a week of 75 degree weather in July! Sweeeeeet!) and Santiago, Chile (pre-earthquake, but we did have a little tiny 2.0 version while we were there).
Three places I’ve been inside of the US: San Diego, CA (honeymoon!), Key West, FL (cruise with my entire family, during which I was ill beyond measure and pregnant with twins) and Seattle, WA (family reunion).
Three movies I love: I’m not a super-big movie watcher, so this one is hard. But, I LOVED National Treasure with Nicholas Cage. I loved 50 First Dates with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. And with RIP to Heath Ledger, my other fav is A Knight’s Tale. I think I’ve watched each of these movies at least a dozen times. π
Three shows I canβt miss: The Office, Bones, House. (LOST would have been first in the list if it hadn’t ended this year).
Three books I recently read that I loved liked: I’ve altered this question because I haven’t LOVED one in a while, but I’ve liked an awful lot of them. The Mage in Black, The Tavernier Stones and The Book of Bright Ideas.
Three hobbies I do in my spare time: Writing, Reading, playing the piano.
Three things I am really, really looking forward to: Having a 15′ waterslide in my backyard next weekend (to celebrate my kids’ birthdays), buying ‘back’ (long story) a Mini Cooper (convertible this time), getting motivated to lose 20 pounds. π
There you go! That’s me in threes.
Jane Hammons (‘cuz she’s following me on Twitter!)
Stephen Parrish (‘cuz I just read his book, so I’m giving him some publicity, too!)
Christi Craig (‘cuz she’s posted to my blog a couple times. π
“Will you get off that computer!” had me rolling. I think too many of us could claim that nickname. LOL
It’s either that or “Are you on that computer again?” π
Yet if I sit in the same spot with a book in hand, I hear ‘Mom’. π
