On this Valentine’s Day … who do you love?
This is me and my hubby last August. We went to a friend’s wedding, wherein hubby was a hot groomsman in said wedding. I, of course, had to dress up in my red, satin, purchased for a whopping $13 at Kohl’s. My girls helped me pick out the dress. 🙂
We had an awesome time (can you say free alcohol?), and I got to dance with him (slowly) and got to watch him in that tux. Let’s just say, I was really hoping he could keep it, but at over $100/day, that wasn’t going to happen. I am, however, going to have to consider buying him one some day. You know … when one of my books gets made into a movie and we have to walk down the red carpet in Hollywood.
Yes?
🙂
So today, for the 24th time, I say Happy Valentine’s Day to my hubby. We’re in our 18th year of marriage (that 24 was just our time together), and I wouldn’t trade a single one of them.
Even that one where …
and that other one where …
😉
The key to it all is that if he asked me to marry him again, I’d say ‘yes’ in a heartbeat.
So, Happy Valentine’s Day! Enjoy it with the one you love.
And on that note … who do you love? Tell me all about him/her! Share in the comments!
Mr B. Like you didn’t know. 22 years together. 17th wedding anniversary celebrated just this Saturday gone. Yup. Couldn’t agree more with what you’ve already said but applied to my own lovalishous life. 🙂
lovalishous. I’m going to have to use that word in a book. 😉
Such a beautiful picture of the two of you.
I’m a few years behind you on the marriage stakes, but I wouldn’t trade any one of the 13 years with my hubby.
Happy Valentines day!
Thank you. 🙂 13 years is a good long time, too! 🙂
Awesome picture. You look so sweet together!
Hubs and I have been together 22 years now. We don’t do much for valentines if anything-neither of us are big romantics-but, even though sometimes, like this one, we spend the day apart, it doesn’t matter, because no matter the day or where we are, we know we love one another. 🙂
Awe. You sappy unromantic. 😉 LOL
I’m kinda fond of a fellow I call the Silverback. We’ve been together nearly 22 years. Unfortunately we are about 2000 miles apart this Valentine’s Day.
Very sweet and lovely pic of Mr. and Mrs.
Thankee. 🙂 Bummer for being separated on the happiest day of the year. 😉 LOL
Awww! You look great together! What a cute story!
Well, I have been with my boyfriend 7 years now..few years more to the marriage line. 🙂
Awe! After 6 years today, we HAD to get married. 6 years had been long enough! I was basically waiting to be ‘old enough’ not to freak out my parents. 😉 I still did since we announced it and I was just 19. 🙂
Lovely picture. Were the bride and groom jealous that you two would outshine them? 😉
This the 26th V-day with my gorgeous wife, 21 of them being married. I’m the romantic, believe it or not. Let’s just say there were flowers, chocolate, jewelry, wine, candles, Nora Jones, chocolate, sea food and did I mention chocolate?
I’d like to say I feel sorry for my daughters’ future boyfriends… but I don’t
Ha! Nope. They were BEYOND gorgeous themselves, so no jealousy whatsoever. 🙂 Congrats on 26 V-days! My hubby is NOT a romantic. Not at all. He pretty much forgets every holiday until it’s upon him. But I still love him. 🙂
