If you were responsible for a pot of gold, where would you hide it?
No way could I pass up this blog hop giveaway. I mean the entirety of the premise for Hide & Seek is the game. Someone hides. Someone seeks. Leprechauns hide their gold, right? And we crazy rainbow followers are always looking for it. Right? Or is that just me?
Leprechauns don’t ever give up the location of their gold. It’s just part of the fable. They have it. We all know it. We’ll never find it. Now, if you were Tripp Fox … you could!
Rainbows are the epitome of the symbol that life goes on … happily, right? Don’t we all love a single, double or even triple rainbow? I’ve seen a triple one time. That third one was faint, but it was there.
And on this March 17th (one day past my birthday) it’s a great time to celebrate the fun of St. Patty’s Day with the Luck of the Irish and a little opportunity to win! Perhaps this will be your pot of gold.
Or at least a little fun.
Take a second to read about the book, then keep going… the pot of gold might just be at the end of this post. π
Lie, cheat or steal, no one can catch Tripp Fox. Except one woman.
Lexi Shepherdβs knack for finding whatever is asked of her isnβt sheer luck. Itβs a gift from the Greek god Zeus.
That Lexi doesnβt use her ability to search for βMr. Rightβ comes from one of many personal rules she has set for herself. Number one is not to let fate dictate her future.
Falling in love with Tripp breaks all the others.
Despite her principles, Lexiβs unable to stay away from the bad boy, and she finds herself toeing the grey line of the law for him.
Zeus, though, didnβt give Lexi and Tripp their talents to make their relationship a simple, easy alliance. He designed it to be exactly the opposite. Impossible. Always.
With their separation, Lexi expects Tripp to forfeit love in favor of destiny. He, on the other hand, intends to beat Zeus at his own game. With a plan in place, Tripp challenges Lexi to take the one action no one else can.
Find him.
The question isnβt can she … but will she?
Dying to read this right now? You can buy it … or keep on scrolling…
Isn’t it fun? I love the idea of a relationship scavenger hunt. That’s kinda what Lexi and Tripp have to go through to find their ‘pot of gold’ (which is just an analogy in this case).
Given he can retrieve and she can find, it makes me wonder just where I’d have to hide my pot of gold to keep them from getting it. There might never be a safe spot. Luckily, that’s why the story is just fiction. π
So … wanna try to win it?

I asked my family this question and the best response I got was that I can’t tell you where I would hide my pot of gold. lol

BWAHAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! OMG, that’s priceless. π
We have a leprechaun that visits our class every year and he always leaves us gold- the chocolate kind! I share some with my students and hide the rest in the VERY back of the freezer where hubby won’t look.
Oooh! The back of the freezer!
I would put it in my closet with my cleaning supplies. No one but me ever looks there. LOL.
I don’t even look there in my house. π
I would hide it under water – probably not the ocean, but a lake or river. I love to swim and so I could dive deep and hide my gold!
Thanks for the giveaway!

Love to swim? You should read the short in this anthology:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13410587-tidal-whispers
Pearl of Pauβmaa by Kelly Said specifically. Totally fits your method. π
Oh, thanks for the recommendation! I will check it out.
i would put it in my dresser. i am the only one that is in my dresser so it would be a perfect spot. π
That’s that thing where clothes go, right? Seems no one in my family uses them. The piles just keep growing. π
i would hide it under a secret opening in the floor somewhere
Secret hidey places are the best!
Haha my closet or bookshelf. My closet is super messy and my bookshelves are stuffed with books.
Hidden in a book. π Hmmm…. kinda like my story. π
I would hide it probably some where under my bed. I have so much junk stuffed under there that no one would want to go through it : )
I think that’s where my kids hide EVERYTHING! π
I do not hide things well, but I have heard that in plain sight is a good idea so I’d leave it in the garage with the go-dillion other items that are just laying around in there.
Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity!
In plain sight is perfect! I swear that’s the best way to hide things from my hubby and son. π
i would hide it in my junk drawer..no one would find it in there lol
Junk drawers rock! LOL
I would keep it under my bed, so I could watch it mainly at night.
Wouldn’t the under-the-bed monsters get it then? π LOL
I would leave the pot on my desk and hide the gold on my person. Thanks for the giveaway.
Oh yeah, keep that gold!
Hmm where to hide my pot o’ gold… I’m thinking a safety deposit box.. haha!
Now I know where to look!
In the dog’s toy box, he has so many toys, he can’t even find the bottom of the box.
I think we all have boxes like that!
Maybe in an underground vault
Still findable! π LOL
Hmmmm……..If I told you, then I couldn’t hide it there, duh! LOL
Exactly! Excellent answer to my trick question!
I’d hide it behind my TBR piles — no one can EVER find anything there but me!

Ha! Priceless. π
Blog Hopping! Squee!
I love blog hopping! What a great way to discover new authors/blogs and visit with old friends.
I would hide it in the dirty clothes hamper. NO ONE but me EVER goes in it…. and I only go in it to get the clothes to wash. LOL
Got more stops to make so I better get hopping. :-}
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win such a fantastic prize!
My dirty clothes hamper is always overflowing with clothes, so I agree! It would work!
In the back of a cave where you cant see the gold shining.
Until you point your flashlight at it. π
I would hide it under my mattress ;0)
With all your other money? π
I don’t know about you guys, but if I had a pot of gold, I think I would be spending it on a shiny new car instead of hiding it…… If I was guarding it for someone else, they would be in trouble. π
Me, toooooooooo! Spend! Spend! Spend!!
Great question….. I think I would probably rotate it on occasion. Hiding it in my garden (under the carrots and turnips of course, rotate it to my hide under my Japanese Snowball bush, and hide it inside my mailbox (sometime in the open is the most overlooked!).
Wonder if it would act like fertilizer to your veggies. π
Well, let’s see. Where Lexi (my third granddaughter’s name, btw) and Tripp can’t find it, huh?
Schrodinger’s Cat’s Box.
Is it there, or not?
How is that for a very geeky answer?
Is it there, or not? You shall never tell. π
I would hide it under a floorboard.
With what else? What else is hiding there? π
I would hide in the White House since all the treasure hunters won’t be able to get in easily π
HAAAAHAA! Love it!
At the end of a rainbow, of course!
Of course!!!
I can’t tell you! It’s a secret!
Exactly! You can’t and shouldn’t!
I would probably hide it in my closet! No one else even goes in there so it should be safe… unless anyone knew I had a pot of gold, then they would most likely look in there. Wait, maybe that’s not a good hiding place… hmmm…
jalyssa982003 at yahoo dot com
Nope, not now you’ve shared. LOL
Hmmm… I’d hid my pot of gold in plain sight, maybe make it into a coffee table.
Plaine sight. Yup. Works every time.
I’d probably hide it in this vent in my brother’s bedroom. (:
LOL
I searched for you on goodreads and didn’t find you or hide and seek then i saw your button on the sidebar and there you were. How strange it didn’t pull you up in search. i tried 3 times with just book then book and name and then name. I’m following you now though! π
I’d hide the pot of gold in the bottom of the trash can since no one ever wants to take it out. π
Froggy
Weird! I’m there! π Glad you ‘found’ me! π
I’d hide it in the middle of a vast wheat field. Who’d look there?
Would you then remember where it was? π
I would hide it all over the house where it would be like a *surprise* every day when I came across some of the gold. Nothing is more fun than putting on a coat and finding money in the pocket or changing out your purse and finding money in it that you forgot about. π
Congratulations to Juana Esparza! You win!
