Where do you read the most? Couch? Bed? Car? Share! #giveaway
Thank you, up front, to “I Am A Reader, Not A Writer” and Reviews by Martha’s Bookshelf for hosting this awesome Dreaming of Books Blog Hop!
What’s a hop? Well, to those who’ve never participated, it’s like a treasure hunt of contests. Form blog to blog, you’ll have the opportunity to win TONS of awesome stuff. Like what? Books. Chocolate. Gifts. Anything. Loads of things. You see? Stuff! All you have to do is hop (just click the link above to hop hop hop around).
In this blog stop, we’re giving away books. You probably figured that already. But you see, this is a dreaming of books blog hop. So it seems very, very, very appropriate. Where do many read their books? Why in bed of course! But not all of us, sure. So my question to you is:
Where do you read the most?
I’ll answer the question when I announce the winner on January 19th!
Your answer, (between today and end of day January 18th) could win you all of the below!
- eBook copy of Little White Lies
- eBook copy of Into the Unknown
- eBook PRE-RELEASE copy of Hide & Seek
- Signed Little White Lies bookmark
- Signed Hide & Seek bookmark
- Signed Into the Unknown bookmark (my signature only)
See? A whole package of goodies.
How do you sign up for my drawing? It’s amazingly simple. All you have to do is answer that ONE question I asked above:
Where do you read the most?
Now, here’s more about the three books I’m giving away!
Here’s what Little White Lies is all about:
When the government needs a body double for a covert operation, they hire shape-shifter Charley Randall. For two centuries, she’s played every part from foreign dignitary to office drone. The role she wants most, though, is one she’s denied herself three times already.
FBI Agent Wyatt Moreland believes Charley’s photographic memory is the key to his latest assignment. He’s oblivious to the true extent of her abilities, but he can’t deny the sense of déjà vu at their introduction.
Unlike Wyatt, Charley knows this isn’t their first meeting.
It’s their fourth.
The girl he vowed to love, sixteen years before, stands in front of him in her true form — one he’ll never recognize.
With each reconnection, Charley loves him more though she realizes this is her last chance to explain. Only absolute truth can bring them happiness, but can Wyatt forgive her deceptions? Or will lies tear them apart forever?
and for my short story in the Into the Unknown Anthology:
In Misguided, Little White Lies’s Wyatt Moreland is hot on the trail of a wanted man when a rumor about his fiancée halts his progress. His desire to keep her safe wars with her need to be involved in his work and could derail their entire wedding unless he finds out the truth before she does.
and Hide & Seek, which releases March 5, 2012!
Lie, cheat or steal, no one can catch Tripp Fox. Except one woman.
Lexi Shepherd’s knack for finding whatever is asked of her isn’t sheer luck. It’s a gift from the Greek god Zeus.
That Lexi doesn’t use her ability to search for “Mr. Right” comes from one of many personal rules she has set for herself. Number one is not to let fate dictate her future.
Falling in love with Tripp breaks all the others.
Despite her principles, Lexi’s unable to stay away from the bad boy, and she finds herself toeing the grey line of the law for him.
Zeus, though, didn’t give Lexi and Tripp their talents to make their relationship a simple, easy alliance. He designed it to be exactly the opposite. Impossible. Always.
With their separation, Lexi expects Tripp to forfeit love in favor of destiny. He, on the other hand, intends to beat Zeus at his own game. With a plan in place, Tripp challenges Lexi to take the one action no one else can.
Find him.
The question isn’t can she … but will she?
Want these three stories for your eReader? Want some signed bookmarks? Gotta play to win and do so by January 18, 2012 and the very next day, I’ll draw a random name from all the comments.
So tell us …
Where do you read the most?
I probably read the most in bed. I aim for about half an hour before I fall asleep at night each night. Of course, if I’m up late writing/procrastinating with blog hops, it might get cut to just a few minutes.
LOL And as this was the first reply in my list, I presume that means you were up late? 🙂
definitely in my bed
thanks for the great giveaway!
It sure is comfy, isn’t it?
I read most in my bed – I know, nothing original, but the most comfortable way 🙂
Who needs to be original? It’s all about comfort!
I read the most on the couch. When I’m tired of reading, I grab my laptop and write. When I’m tired of writing, I grab a book.
Thanks for the super awesome giveaway! I’d be happy to win any of them.
Now that’s a nice, organized, plan of action. I’m pretty much a one track mind. I write OR I read it seems. 🙂
On the sofa, but I always bring a book to bed too. How long I read there depends on how tired I am or how good the book is.
I love curling up on my sofa, especially in winter by the fire. 🙂 That though always makes me fall asleep. 😉
I read most in bed with my dog curled up beside me.
Awe! Happy puppy!
I tend to read on the sofa. I’ve also got a little hidey hole reading area in the attic, but I only tend to go there when I’m waiting for the washing machine! And then I get sucked in by the book and don’t feel like stopping to empty the washer!
What a fun place! I’d ignore the wash, too. 😉
I’d say it’s a toss up between my bed, reading always helps me fall asleep, or the tub, I love a good read in the tub, so relaxing 🙂
Oooh, the tub. I’d be afraid my Kindle would fall in. 😉
I love reading on a pile of pillows with a thick blanket on top, but sometimes I just settle for my old sofa. :]
Your books sound great, I will have to get them and review them. I WANT TO READ THEM. Are they on amazon…..Hmmm will check, thanks for the giveaway! 😀
Thanks, Samantha! They are on Amazon. Hide & Seek is coming soon though. And I LOVE the idea of blankies and pillows and books! 🙂
I read most in my comfy chair. This way I can watch my kiddos run around. I listen to books while I clean and drive so I get quite a bit of reading done then too 🙂
I’m not a big audio-book person, but I’d bet that’s an awesome way to multi-task. 🙂
I read on the couch while my hubby watches soccer with the sound off. He’s so sweet! (I also have to have a blanket!
Awe! So sweet! No way would mine watch it muted. 🙂
Almost always in bed for some reason. Right now I’ve taken over the guest bedroom that I redid this fall that’s a dark purple, has an entire wall of bookcases and a great daybed. It’s a fantastic little reading cave.
ooooooooooooh! An entire wall of bookcases!! Totally jealous!
it’s a wonderful sight 🙂
I definitely read the most in bed, I always take a book to bed at night and if its good im stuck up for hours ;P
Meghangale@rogers.com
So i guess my response to that is I hope my book keeps you up! 😉
I read the most in bed. It’s comfy and peaceful there. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
henderkd(at)hotmail(dot)com
Bed seems to be a very comfy spot!
I read the most on the floor against a wall. Technically that should not be comfortable, but for some reason I prefer it to a chair or my bed o.O
cigam9(at)gmail(dot)com
Whatever works, right? 🙂
I read on my bed the most. XD Or for some reason, the living room floor, it’s cooler than the couches for some odd reason. XD
supersonic182@gmail.com
I can understand that! 🙂
I always read in bed to wind down for the day but every time I pause during the day I pick my book up too- lounging on the sofa, at the dining table…just about anywhere.
I like the ‘anywhere’ answer!
Why doesn’t anyone say they read in the washroom? With kids around, sometimes that is the only peace and quiet time we Mom’s can get. So, for me, it’s the washroom or my bed when Hubby has to be away…I read myself to sleep then.
I was waiting for someone to say it! 🙂
I read everywhere I can!
Mostly on the couch though. It’s huge and comfy, so I have enough space to toss and turn 🙂
But I also read on the bus, train, subway, whenever I use those, at work when there’s nothing else to do, in a coffeeshop waiting for my friend to arrive… Last week I ran down a street lantern, cause the stupid eReader gave me the chance to read in the dark while walking home… The books was just too good 🙂
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I’d be more than happy to win 🙂
Love having instant eReader access!
I do everywhere I can and whenever I can, but nothing compare to my couch with a cuo of steaming cocoa!

Gotta love cocoa!!
I broke my ankle rather spectacularly in early December, so I’ve spent most of the time since then in our old 1960s style blue recliner in the living room reading!! I have read more books in January already than I read in three months last year!!! Bummer about the broken bones, but awesome for my reading productivity!!
cheatingpiggies at hotmail dot com
Yikes! That’s some goooooood reading time, though! 🙂
My favorite place to read is curled up in my Lazy Boy recliner with a big cup of hot coffee. 🙂
Oooh. A Lazy Boy. Yup. Great spot!
Favorite place is curled up on the couch in my down comforter.
caity_mack at yahoo dot com
Down comforters are soooooooooooo soft!
I do probably read in bed the most – but that is only because since I had my daughter (she’s 16 months old) I don’t have time to do anything but take care of her during the day. So when she finally goes to bed, I do to – but with a book in my hands. The second place I read the most would be the couch – sneaking a few pages in here and there when the little one is otherwise occupied. Thanks for the giveaway!
Great cycle to get yourself into!
I read in the little coffee shop in my town the most. I can tuck myself into a corner with my Kindle and the owner (who is now my friend) keeps me full of coffee & the people away from me. Best relaxation spot EVER.
What a nice guy! I’m sure he likes the tab you ring up, too. 😉
Thanks so much for the chance. I read the most in bed because I have 4 boys so its the only time I get a chance to.
I can understand that with 3 kids of my own!
Thanks for the giveaway! I mostly read in my bed or at school (:
Cool! 🙂
I read the most in my bed! I have kids so the only time I get any time to read is when I wind down for the night… Truth be told I cant sleep unless I read lol
Kids are such a reading inconvenience, aren’t they? 😉 Still gotta love ’em.
I mostly read in bed or in a cozy chair on my sun porch.
elizabeth @ bookattict . com
Ooooh! Sun porch! I’d be there all the time!
I love to read in bed!!
Thanks for the great giveaway!
sweepingtheusa at gmail dot com
Yeah for reading in comfy spots!
I read on my recliner in my den with my dogs around and on top of me.
lkish77123 at gmail dot com
Hehehee. Doggies on top. Sounds like my cat. 🙂
I read the most in my chair and a half – my Dachshund gets the chair, and I get the half, LOL! The little hogger, sheesh! We both bury under the blankie in the winter time and snuggle … he sleeps, and I read. Heaven!
Gotta love reading partners. 😉
Curled up in bed!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Love bedtime reading!
I love to read in or on my bed. It is my space. Thanks for the giveaway.
You space, huh? 😉
thanks for the unique question –
read the most at my kitchen table
usually with a hot cup of tea.
thanks for the book hop too.
dayleb at telus dot net
ps with my doggie on the floor
Doggies seem to be awesome reading partners!
I read most in my recliner. As long as I have my Dr. Pepper and Kindle Fire, I am one happy girl!
hschrock24112(at)yahoo(dot)com
Mmmm! Dr. Pepper!
I generally read while lying on the couch in my living room. In the summer, however, I read outdoors on the backyard swing. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
I want a backyard swing!
I read the majority on our screened in back porch. It is heated in winter and air in summer. I have a really comfy loveseat type sofa, and I have my Keurig coffeepot out there. When my husband gets to looking around for me, I will grab my Kindle and come inside so he doesn’t feel left out:)

Your porch sounds awesome!
WOW! what an awesome giveaway. My fingers are certainly crossed here. Thank you so very much for the opportunity to win these treats. My favorite place to read is on my back patio. No one interrupting me and when I am lucky the sun just reaching my legs warming me and making me toasty 🙂
dz59001[at]gmail[dot]com
Patio reading with no interruptions. I could go for that. 🙂
I read mostly in my bed. I find it the most relaxing place and no one bothers me.
Thank you for the chance to win your giveaway.
Definitely relaxing! 🙂
Most of my reading is done in my bed. I like it the best and find I can read about 60 pages in an hour. If the book is good that is. Some of these TERRIBLE ones…UGGHHH takes me forever to get through.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Wow! You read fast!!
I read mostly in bed and in the car waiting for my kiddos to get out os school 🙂
diannaandpaul@yahoo.com
Carpool line! That’s awesome. 🙂
I like to read on the couch the most. But I will admit to reading while in the bathroom. I know there’s more of you out there. Fess up.
Thanks for the giveaway!
geschumann at live dot com
We all do it. 😉 Just few want to admit it. 🙂
I mostly read ebooks on my computer….so,that means i should sit in the chair for hours and hours 🙁 (i guess it’s worth it!!). But I love to read books by curling up on the bed 🙂
Thanks for the international giveaway!!
Have a great day 🙂
sweety225(at)rocketmail(dot)com
That’s where an ereader would be handy. I often find myself wanting to roll over and laptops just don’t mesh with that position! 🙂
Thank you for taking part in this fun blog hop! I read all the time in bed with my warm blanket at night! Thank you for the great giveaway!
tishajean@ charter.net
Welcome! 🙂
I read the most on my bed because it’s so comfy 😀 I would just like to bookmarks by the way, I can’t stand reading for lengthy periods of time on the computer.
Email: puieread@yahoo.com
You need an ereader! I LOVE my Kindle. 🙂
I read the most in my den, right next to the window, especially if it’s sunny out 🙂
Morganlafey86(at)aol(dot)com
Oooh … sunny windows! 🙂
I read everywhere, but I really love doing it on train and in my bed ^^
Everywhere is good!
Bed 🙂
🙂
I read the most on my comfy couch. That sounds like a children’s fable lol
prettyhaydengurl at yahoo dot com
It does sound like one! 🙂 Cute!
